Firefighter stories - type our BITLINK address into your browser to read our Firefighter stories. You will find spelling mistakes and forgotten capital letters but please celebrate how we are getting the hang of using paragraphs to organise our ideas and learning about how to use speech marks.

Making the Scarves! As part of Love and Service we have designed and are making scarves to gift to the needy at Te Puea marae. I am specially proud of how our class has designed scarves thinking of other people. Some boys have designed scarves for girls and women and vice versa. Yay.

Samoan Language Week in Room 7 - Using our Chromebooks we learned to use tables and copy images to show the numbers in Samoan and Te Reo. They are similar! Thanks to Nela, Ana, Clara and Allan for sharing their work!

Everyday heroes - firefighters. We are using paint, paper and tin foil to show a firefighter in action with their protective clothing.

Measuring capacity. We are learning about standard measures for capacity. We used popcorn. Yum!

"Oh, its the same. That's reflection." We are learning about translation, reflection and rotation in Room 7.

Catholic schools day is letting us learn new skills and make new friends.

Have a look at Room 7's choreography to the song Everyday Heroes.

Interviewing Saint McKillop - we worked with Room 5 to ask questions, write notes and next we will put our information into paragraphs. Thanks for great research and acting Room 5!
